Finding a good app for editing your pictures so you can post them online in hope that your crush will notice is hard nowadays. How are you possibly going to find that perfect app among the millions? You download a bunch of apps that perhaps with hope that you’ll find the perfect one, but end up deleting all of them. I’ve been there and done that, but while doing so, I eventually found four of the best apps in for every situation. Looking for an app that can photoshop your flat ass? Got it. No, it’s not the hundred dollar Adobe Photoshop one that you probably don’t know how to use. Polarr - Minor Tweaks Highlight of the app: Editing, Easy to navigate Polar is more for editing your photos, making a few tweaks here and there. |Opinions| Why '13 Reasons Why' was Just Another Sh*t Show

Okay hello everyone! Before we start, let’s get something straight. If you’re offended by my opinion/discussion posts, then you can get out of here. Just because you’re offended doesn't mean you’re right. This is a big topic I’m voicing on so if you don’t want to see your favorite show get dragged, then leave. So besides that, let's start. '13 Reasons Why' is a loved show by many. Good rating, praised by social media because it “talks about a sensitive subject”. But is it really a great show or is it just another entertainment object out there? Here’s a list of why this show is sorta crappy. It romanticizes suicide. You might think that the scene in which Hannah Baker slits her wrist is good because it 'adresses' the suicide. Well, it's not. For those who read the book you would remember that Hannah is written to take pills, not slitting her wrist. For me right there, I feel like Netflix just had suicide on the table and felt like they could do whatever th...

|Opinion| Dear Big Companies, Stop Using Big Names For Attention: An Opinion

Hello dear fellow reader! This is an opinion post so if you get offended to things that you don't agree with, then please just leave this site because just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right. You see these big name companies like Vogue, Allure, and Adidas model the same person: Kendall Jenner. I personally don't have a thing against Kendall Jenner, but these companies really got to stop with this. Kendall can't walk or give out a good vibe. She's pretty much boring except for her slim figure, which most companies want for their clothing. She's everywhere, escpecially places she shouldn't be at (like on the cover of Vogue India and the runway) Please, we need more diverse models out there. If your doing a photoshoot representing China, use a Chinese model. If your doing a photoshoot represent India, use a real Indian woman. If you're representing sports or athletics, use a REAL athlete. Don't go using Instagram models, or ...

How to Transfer a Printed Image Onto a Candle

Image
Hello! Another post today!  I usually- or not at all write about DIYS or anything else, but I found a DIY so cute and easy that I just had to post about it. Things you’ll need: White Tissue Paper (It has to be white) Copy Paper Printer Blow Dryer Wax Paper Tape Pillar Candles Directions: 1. Plan out the image that you want on your candle. Make sure that the image will fit on the surface of the candle. I typed this image out using an app called Phonto  Tape tissue paper onto your copy paper. Make sure to tape outside the area you're going to be printing on. In this case, I tape it all the way on the back. Make sure you tape the tissue smoothly it out as much as you possibly can. Remember that the paper is going into your printer to print. 3. Print out your image. Make sure that the paper prints on the TISSUE side. 4. Cut out the image after you're done printing it. Cut as close to the image as possible, b...

DIY Sticker/Label

Image
What you'll need for your sticker: 1. Water 2. Clear packaging tape or book tape   Directions: 1. Get a piece of paper with ink. The type of ink cannot be from a pen or a maker. In this case, I used a book page. 2. Take your tape and cover the paper. 3. Press the paper. The more you do it, the better the ink will stay. I used a gluestick. 4. Get a cup filled with water and dunk the paper into the cup. Wait for at least 5 minutes. 5. Rub the back of the paper until it is completely gone, leaving only the ink. I prefer rubbing the paper under the water, so it's easier. 6. Now you have your sticker.   Well I hope you enjoyed this DIY that wasted about 8 minutes of your life.   - Rhild Rhants
